FAQs
-
Where are you located? We are located in the Crossing Plaza at 1023 Yellowstone Avenue Suite J. Pocatello, Idaho
-
What should I wear to class? We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you can move freely in, and will not obstruct your movement by being too tight or too loose. Remove your shoes before entering the studio area. Bare feet are best (gripped yoga/pilates socks are okay too). We also recommend that you not wear jewelry or heavy perfume.
-
What if I don't have a yoga mat?For hygenic reasons, it is recommended that you have your own personal yoga mat. We have a variety of mats available for purchase. However, we have community-shared yoga mats that you are free to borrow for class. All other props are included (blocks, blankets, bolsters, and straps).

What class should I attend? If you are new to yoga, or just looking for a slower paced class, we recommend: 1.) "Rooted in Hatha" - Great for beginners or those wanting to connect with the foundations of poses. We take it slow in this class and concentrate on correct alignment, and how the poses should feel in your body. 2.) "Healing Strength Hatha" - Perfect for anyone managing chronic pain or injuries. We use props and modify the poses helping all bodies and levels of experience enjoy the benefits of yoga. 3.) "Deep Release Yin" - Ideal for anyone looking to release tension, energy, and emotions stored in the body. We are down on our mats, holding poses for 3-5 minutes each, and help you find ways to make your body as relaxed and comfortable as possible. If you are looking to take your yoga experience to the next level, we recommend: 1.) "Balance & Beyond" -For those who have experience with the asanas (poses) and are looking to challenge their bodies and minds with the more nuanced aspects of poses and yoga philosophy. 2.) "Deep Release Yin" -A great option for any level of practioner. Allow your body to release stored tension, energy, and emotion by holding passive poses on the floor for 3-5 minutes each. If you have any questions about our classes or what might be best for you, give us a call! We are happy to help!

Is there anything else I should know? The studio opens 15 minutes before class begins, and your instructor will be available for 15 minutes after class to answer any questions you might have. If this is your first time at the studio, please arrive 10-15 minutes early to acclimate yourself to the space and find a comfortable seat. In general, please arrive to class 5-10 minutes early so that class can start on time, and to not disturb students during the centering section at the beginning of class. We strongly urge you to stay for the entire 60 minute class session. However, if you must leave class early, please let your instructor know beforehand, and leave quietly before Savasana begins. We encourage you to connect with your instructor and fellow practicioners, but please keep side conversations quiet and to a minimum during class, to maintain a peaceful (sattvic) atmosphere. You are welcome to bring water bottles into the studio, if you like. Juice and food items are not allowed in the space. If you have are not feeling well, please stay home. We want you well so that you can enjoy class to it's fullest, as well as not get fellow students or teachers sick.
